                                            Analysis mind map

Here's my mind map comparing two very different animation. Wallace & Gromit - Curse Of The Wear-Rabbit (claymation) and Bagpuss - The Mouse Mill part 1 (Pixilation).

Bagpuss, unlike Wallace & Gromit, is really cheaply produced. For example, Bagpuss would only be 4 fps (frames per second) therefore its very jumpy and limited movements. Also, there is no lip syncing while the characters are talking and the characters aren't very realistic. Wallace & Gromit is quite the opposite to Bugpuss. First of all, the budget for Wallace & Gromit was much higher then Bagpuss, therefore the technology used and skill for making it was much better. The frames per second was 24 fps, compared to Bagpuss it would have had a lot more smother movements and looked more realistic. The detail gone into making Wallace & Gromit was a lot more intricate and therefore took much longer. You can really see the difference in budget from first look at these two animations.
